Raging bull punishes cocky bullfighter who mocks 450kg beast without a cape

A bullfighter suffered a spectacular goring after an audacious attempt to kneel prone on the ground and goad a 450kg bull to attack him.

Luis Salas Contreras was hospitalised overnight with a serious puncture wound and massively bruised ego, after a vicious attack left him bleeding and in need of being escorted out of a bull ring in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Footage of the thrashing begins with Contreras down on both knees in a dusty bull ring, staring at a huge beast named "Bayo", who stamps the ground, preparing to charge.


Contreras hams it up for the crowd, making a sign of the cross and blowing a kiss at Bayo.

Seconds later, the bullfighter has been stabbed violently in the right arm and thrown like a rag doll two metres into the air.

Other bullfighters rush to the aid of their fallen compadre, while Bayo proceeds to scatter the ring of anyone else in close proximity.

Contreras was rushed to the local hospital where doctors said he is recovering after losing a large amount of blood from the goring,

The Simplest Way to Secure Your Webcam Without Any Software

Let’s start with the bad news: Your webcam is vulnerable. It can be remotely activated and you won’t even know it’s on. A report this month in the Washington Post revealed that the FBI figured out how to do this years ago.
Now for the good news: You can protect your webcam privacy with a bit of MacGyver-esque ingenuity. All you need is a Post-it note.
Start with your standard 2x2-inch Post-it Note in the color of your choice (we don't recommend the super-sticky variety). A piece of notepaper will work just as well. A piece of black tape would be a more permanent solution, but you will probably want to use that webcam someday. Tape, black or otherwise, could leave glue residue on the webcam lens or tiny illumination light, rendering it useless.
No writing on the Post-it is required. Simply fold the paper into approximate thirds; the placement of the folds will depend on where the webcam rests on your laptop. The goal is to fold the note so the sticky portion adheres to the back of your laptop screen (the computer’s cover), a third sits on top of the upper edge and the remaining third covers your webcam. The last third shouldn't be so large that it reaches and obscures a portion of your screen.
You can press the Post-it Note’s sticky portion onto the back of your screen, but we recommend leaving it free so you can slide away the DIY cover when you want to use your webcam.

Now, even if someone can access your webcam, he will only see your Post-it Note, not your unknowing face.
It’s also worth noting that before any hacker can gain access to your computer, he still needs your help. Most of the software used to activate webcams is malware, born on the back of phishing emails. If you never open or act on these messages, your likelihood of protection from hackers is much higher.

Music has the power to make our bodies do things: dance spontaneously, cry unexpectedly and even sing along intensely. These emotional reactions to songs are the premise to the Recording Academy's new advertising campaign for the 2014 Grammy Awards.
Dubbed "Music Unleashes Us," the ad campaign got into full swing Monday with the launch of four commercials — one of which the academy shared first exclusively with Mashable.

The commercials arrive on the heels of Friday's televised Grammy nominations special that featured performances from Perry, Lorde, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Miguel, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Robin, Thicke, T.I. and Earth, Wind and Fire.
The other three video ads, which also show people responding entertainingly to music, are set to music from Eminem, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis as well as Pink and Nate Ruess.
The academy encourages social media users to participate by uploading videos of themselves or other people dancing to music and then tagging them with #MusicUnleashes.
The 56th Grammy Awards will air Jan. 26 on CBS. Katy Perry's "Roar" is nominated for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. An SMS-infused lyric video, below, for the song came out in August, followed a month later by its official music video.

‘The Sound Of Music’ Spoofed In Funny ‘SNL’ Skit — Watch

NBC’s live remake of ‘The Sound Of Music’ was the butt of a ton of jokes after it aired on Dec. 5. So of course ‘Saturday Night Live’ had to take their shots too, and they did on Dec. 7 with a skit featuring one of their most famous former cast members. Read on to watch!

Carrie Underwood‘s The Sound of Music aired on the same channel as Saturday Night Live, but that didn’t stop the comedy show from making fun of it on Dec. 7. With the help of former cast mate Kristen Wiig and one of her most famous characters, SNL pulled off a hilarious spoof of the ill-fated live remake.

Kristen Wiig Returns To ‘SNL’ To Spoof ‘The Sound Of Music’

SNL didn’t so much make fun of Carrie and her version of The Sound of Music (which were definitely low-hanging fruit). Instead the show used the remake as a way to feature Dooneese, Kristen’s weird, little-handed, huge-foreheaded character. Dooneese was one of Kristen’s most popular recurring characters during her time on SNL, so the audience was pleasantly surprised when she crashed The Sound of Music party.

The sight gag of Dooneese was enough to get a ton of laughs, but the skit hit its funniest points when she was incorporated into the musical. “Doe, a deer, a female deer,” SNL cast member Kate McKinnon sang, before being interrupted when she got to “Ray.”
“The guy in the barn that tries to lay on me,” Dooneese weirdly croaked. This continued with Dooneese singing stranger and stranger things, like, “I sewed a chicken to the floor!”
You get it, it was freaking weird. But that’s Dooneese.
